Formed in Canada in 1993, ZARAZA aims to re-definy extrmeity by combining the low-end brutality of uncompromising doom/death metal with the piercing screams of old-school true industrial. From a TERRORIZER review of the "Slavic Blasphemy" CD: "Laibach meets Disembowelement head on in the music of Zaraza. At times torturously slow, at others blindingly fast, always brutal, always weird, this stuff does not make for pleasant listening. Incredibly ugly yet strangely beautiful on occasion."
