Aim Records, Inc. is based in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States. We have several releases of Indian Classical Music featuring some of the finest of young artists in India. All of our Compact Discs are recorded & mastered in the United States utilizing the finest of Digital Equipment. We have our our professionally built recording studio constructed for the best possible sound quality and environment for Indian Classical Music. We are currently expanding to include distributions in Calcutta,Dehli and Bombay, India and Dhaka, Chittagong Bangladesh. We are also currently running a project to help promote new talent and present them to the world. We have also organized several Indian Music Concerts of such artists as Ustad Vilayat Khan, Ustad Shujaat Khan, Ustad Budhaditya Mukherjee and many more artists. On July 29, 1995 Aim Records sponsored the first of an annual music conference in Calcutta, India at the KalaMandir. It was a whole night concert lasting from 6:00pm to 8:00am. The concert featured Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty(Vocal), Ustad Shujaat Khan(Sitar), Ronu Majumdar(Flute), Shubra Guho (Vocal),Prateek Haldar (Sitar), Sanjay Mukherjee (Tabla), Enayet Hossain(Tabla), Malhar (Tabla). The festival was a complete success and we are making this an annual event. So, we are not JUST a recording company but we like to think ourselves in the business of promoting Indian Classical Music.
